The bissap is composed of flowers of sorrel of Guinea, also called hibiscus.
The bissap juice is very popular in Africa and the Middle East.
Quenching and delicious, the juice of bissap is obtained by infusion and is consumed cold or hot as in Egypt added mint, sugar or rum according to the tastes. Do not hesitate to let it infuse several hours. Rich in carotene and vitamin C, the bissap juice also has toning and detoxifying properties.
